Local Outreach
As a church our goal is to take every opportunity to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with others. We therefore regularly visit local schools, nursing home and hospitals to provide care and support and to point people to Jesus.
Once a year we bring the Amazing Journey to the local primary schools for an interactive, exciting look at the Bible.
We also run Christianity Explored Courses for people who are interested in learning what it means to be a Christian. If you are interested in attending a C.E course please contact us.
We have regular outreach events and missions thoughout the year. (See the Home page or Calendar for details.)
For the Children in our community the highlight of the summer is 'Going Bananas' Holiday Bible Club.
Summer Teams
We encourage members of our church to get involved in summer outreach teams. Many have used their holidays to go and share the gospel or bring practial help and aid to many people.
Many of our young people help every summer on BYE Teams, Baptist Camps or CEF Camps within Ireland. Others have been to Romania, Poland, Korea, Brazil, Poland and Germany with mission organisations such as Project Romania, OMS International, ECM, Link, etc.
World mission
As a church we support Baptist Mission financially and regularly in prayer. Our desire as a church is to fullfil the Great Commission of Jesus (Matthew 28 v18-20) so the ends of the earth will hear and repond to God's offer of salvation. As well as supporting and praying we encourage our members to go to the nations with the gospel.
We have a number of families associated with the church in full time Christian service. Charlie & Miriam Anderson work with ECM in Ireland and David and Kathy Coffey work with CEF in Mid-Ulster. The church or Individuals within the church have links with, and support many other missionaries.
